DroneShield counter-UAS systems to gain enhanced identification capabilities
Published on February 13, 2023
Australia-based DroneShield announces a partnership with US-based Pierce Aerospace to integrate the latter’s Flight Portal ID/Remote ID technologies into DroneShield’s counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) and command-and-control systems.
The integration of Pierce’s ID technologies will enhance the situational awareness of DroneShield’s end users. They will possess uncrewed aerial system (UAS) identification capabilities previously unavailable to users. Synthesizing these technologies opens up several applications, including uncrewed traffic management, C-UAS solutions, and more precise target identification capabilities.
