Airbus launches European Defence Fund R&D projects

Airbus Defence and Space is launching two defense research and development projects contracted through the European Defence Fund.
The projects have an explicit focus on increasing the interoperability of armed forces across the European Union. Most notably, the ‘European Defence Operational Collaborative Cloud’ project seeks to combine cloud computing with custom AI solutions and data analytics across land, sea, air, space and cyber domains. Work of this nature is accelerating across Europe.
