Origin has unveiled the 'BEAK,' a multipurpose Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) designed to transform ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) capabilities. This UAS offers extended range, a reduced acoustic signature, and the unique ability to attack both soft and hard targets precisely. Origin has drawn on lessons learned from the Ukraine war to create a NATO-ready solution that enhances capabilities and allows for unconventional tactics, exploiting an adversary's vulnerabilities. The BEAK is designed for operations in GNSS-denied environments and features state-of-the-art anti-jamming capabilities, making it highly versatile for various missions. It's currently undergoing product qualification testing with several NATO partners and is expected to begin shipments in early 2024.
