The U.S. Army is seeking to enhance Soldier decision-making through the development of an automated data platform that integrates operations, logistics, and communications using artificial intelligence (AI). In pursuit of this goal, the Army's Applied Small Business Innovation Research Program has initiated a solicitation, inviting innovative small businesses to propose solutions for the Knowledge-Level Distributed Active Data Platforms for Ops-Log Synchronization contract opportunity. This initiative aims to optimize the collection, comprehension, and distribution of battlefield data across operations, enabling AI-driven analytical reasoning to guide tactical decision coordination and execution. The solicitation not only supports military modernization but also holds commercial potential, such as tracking financial data and customer insights. The Army is offering up to $1.9 million in Direct to Phase II funding for selected proposals, with a focus on integration with current tactical data platforms and advanced AI capabilities. The solicitation period is open from July 27 to September 5, and successful small businesses will receive technical guidance and support from Army subject matter experts to refine their technologies.
