Here’s Everything We Know About the Pentagon’s 2024 Budget Proposal

The United States Pentagon’s 2024 budget proposal includes ‘the largest-ever requests’ in areas including weapons procurement, research and development, and space-related efforts.

Notably, the budget proposal requests a record-breaking $145 billion for research and development. $13.5 billion is requested for cyber activities; $1.8 billion for artificial intelligence-related efforts; and $1.4 billion for joint all-domain command-and-control projects. Interestingly, the US Air Force’s requested research and development budget tops its procurement budget.
