Spanish Companies GMV and LuxQuanta Join Forces to Strengthen Europe’s Quantum-Safe Future

GMV and LuxQuanta, two Spanish leaders in cybersecurity, space, and quantum technologies, have formed a strategic alliance to accelerate the deployment of quantum key distribution (QKD) and enhance Europe’s sovereignty in quantum-secure communications. Combining GMV’s expertise in encryption, space systems, and its “QuKee” Key Management Solution with LuxQuanta’s field-proven Continuous-Variable QKD technology, the partnership aims to create a scalable, secure ecosystem that integrates terrestrial fibre networks with satellite-based systems. This collaboration supports the European Quantum Communication Infrastructure (EuroQCI) initiative and positions Spain as a key contributor to Europe’s post-quantum resilience, advancing secure communication infrastructures for both industrial and governmental use.
