Quaze Technologies and Vatn Systems partner to deliver wireless power for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles

Quaze Technologies has partnered with Vatn Systems to integrate its wide surface wireless power transfer technology into Vatn’s autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), marking a significant advancement in maritime robotics. By equipping Vatn’s Skelmir S-6 AUVs with Quaze’s QU6 wireless charging receivers, the vehicles will be able to recharge autonomously via remote docking stations without human intervention or physical connectors, which are often unreliable in underwater environments. This innovation enhances endurance, reduces maintenance, and removes operator risk in challenging maritime conditions. Both companies see the collaboration as a breakthrough that will deliver scalable, resilient, and cost-effective underwater operations, redefining the future of AUV capabilities for military and allied applications.
