Quantum Systems launches UK subsidiary, unveils Reliant ISR drone at DSEI 2025

Quantum Systems has expanded into the UK with the creation of Quantum-Systems Ltd. UK after acquiring Nordic Unmanned UK, committing up to €50 million in investments over the next five years to support the Ministry of Defence’s 20-40-40 strategy. The German company aims to strengthen local infrastructure, engineering, and partnerships, including a planned Service, Support, Training and Logistics Centre and a Memorandum of Understanding with Skyports at DSEI UK 2025. It is also showcasing Reliant, a new long-range ISR drone operated via its MOSAIC UXS software, completing its short-, medium-, and long-range portfolio. Former Royal Marine Vito Tomasi has been appointed Managing Director to lead UK operations, with Quantum Systems positioning itself as a long-term partner to deliver advanced unmanned aerial intelligence systems for Britain’s defence and security.
