Ukrainian forces actively use AI - Commander-in-Chief
Currently, virtually all of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' technological weapons have AI elements. In particular, air defense systems, according to Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
Syrsky says structures have been created in the General Staff and other headquarters that deal with the application of artificial intelligence in the military sphere.
"We are already testing aerial platforms for medical evacuation — that's the future. Another priority for us is drones that work as interceptors to fight against enemy strike UAVs. And we have many impressive results achieved with our naval platforms. All of this is technological weaponry, weapons with artificial intelligence," Syrskyi says.
However, according to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it should be taken into account that AI can make mistakes, as it is still in the early stages of development and use.
