Saab grows in Gothenburg and establishes new facility

Saab is expanding its operations in the Gothenburg region of Sweden by establishing a new multifunctional facility in Mölnlycke, Härryda municipality, to meet the rising demand for radar and sensor systems and accommodate high recruitment levels. This expansion will support the company’s continued growth and boost its production and delivery capacity. Saab, which currently employs around 3,200 people in Gothenburg, develops advanced systems such as the GlobalEye airborne early warning aircraft and the Giraffe radar family. The company will maintain its existing site in Kallebäck while the new facility will provide space for approximately 500 workstations, reinforcing Gothenburg's position as a hub for microwave technology and innovation.
