The company now aims to solve the growing issue of human verification in a world increasingly influenced by AI and bots. At a recent event, World introduced a more powerful Orb scanner and announced new ways for users to verify their identity without biometric data, such as through NFC-enabled passports. Despite ongoing privacy concerns and regulatory pushback, especially around its biometric methods, World claims growing government interest as fears of deepfakes and digital impersonation rise. The company plans to monetize its identity platform by expanding services through a "Super App" and positioning itself as the leading solution to the digital identity crisis
