US-based Satlyt has partnered with the Kenya Space Agency at the NewSpace Africa Conference to advance its decentralised space computing platform, which aims to revolutionise satellite data processing for applications in AI-enabled Earth observation, in-orbit edge computing, and inter-satellite networking, ultimately supporting socio-economic development in areas like agriculture and climate monitoring while strengthening Kenya's regional leadership in data analytics.
