Quantum Systems partners with Frontline to integrate cutting-edge C-UAS capabilities
The two companies in the defense technology sector have announced their collaboration to address the challenges posed by modern warfare
Quantum Systems announced on April 14 a strategic cooperation and investment agreement with Frontline, a Ukrainian company specializing in military robotic systems. This cooperation marks a significant step in Euro-Ukrainian defense industry integration.
The agreement was signed on April 9th under the chairmanship of the Minister for Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin, and is focused on integrating Frontline’s counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) solution into Quantum Systems’ unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This C-UAS capability is based on a deep understanding of modern warfare and is intended to be a component of the Quantum Systems Vector AI reconnaissance drone and other Family of Systems drones.
“Our cooperation with Frontline is a strategic leap forward, not just technologically, but industrially,” said Oleksandr Berezhny, Managing Director of Quantum Systems Ukraine. “As a German-Ukrainian company, we are proud to invest in and integrate with Ukraine’s top MilTech innovators. This is about building systems in Ukraine, for Ukraine — and for the future of European defense.”
Frontline is a Ukrainian Defense technology company founded in August 2023 by four Ukrainians. Since 2014, its founders have developed a series of robotic solutions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have been deployed in the field and are successfully in use. The company is currently focused on developing a set of interconnected aerial and ground robots that provide unmanned superiority on a specific tactical area up to 15km deep.
