Weibel, DefSecIntel Partner to Integrate Radars, Counter-Drone Systems
Danish firm Weibel Scientific and Estonian DefSecIntel Solutions have partnered to integrate radars and counter-drone technologies.
The collaboration aims to expand both companies’ presence in key defense markets, focusing on Ukraine, European procurement, and NATO security initiatives.
Within the partnership, Weibel’s X-band radars will be integrated into DefSecIntel’s counter-drone and ultra-short-range air defense EIRSHIELD system.
The cooperation ensures “that European defense solutions remain independent, innovative, and built to meet real operational needs,” said Jaanus Tamm, CEO at DefSecIntel Solutions.
A dedicated research and technology development team will work to accelerate integration, allowing for fast and cost-effective production.
Peter Røpke, CEO at Weibel Scientific, stated that “this partnership allows us to extend our expertise into a fully integrated defense ecosystem” and to “create scalable and highly effective solutions for both European and global defense challenges.”
