How Biomimicry Architecture Is Influencing Robot Design

Animals offer the ideal blueprints for improved robot and drone design. It's an evolving approach known as biomimicry architecture. Instead of reinventing the wheel with new drone designs, researchers look at what nature has already done. Scientists examine the skeletal structure, muscle makeup and neural networks of different animal species to help develop drones that fly more effectively or robots that have more fluid and natural movements.
