Kratos Reports First Successful Test Flight of Stealth Combat Drone
A San Diego-based company has announced the successful first flight of its Thanatos stealth Uncrewed Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) prototype. Developed by Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, the drone is capable of conducting autonomous strike and intelligence-gathering missions.
However, the company didn’t disclose the exact location and date of the test. A year back, Kratos confirmed the existence of the Thanatos project to the public.
Although, reports have claimed that the project has been in the development since at least 2019.
