HAL, Bharat Dynamics, BEL and other defence stocks surge over 3% after CCS nod for Rs 80,000 crore deals

Shares of defence companies such as HAL, Bharat Dynamics, and Bharat Electronics surged over 3% on Thursday following the Cabinet Committee on Security's approval of defence deals worth Rs 80,000 crore. HAL's shares rose over 2% to Rs 4,492, BDL shares jumped over 3% to a day’s high of Rs 1,197, and BEL advanced 2% to Rs 287.
