
BAE in £38m contract to enhance U.S. intel capabilities

BAE Systems has been awarded a £38 million ($48 million) contract by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to advance its next-generation military intelligence analysis system, Insight, according to a press release.
The contract aims to further develop and integrate Insight’s capabilities, particularly in airborne applications, to improve the speed and accuracy of intelligence processing in highly contested environments.
The Insight system, which leverages machine learning and autonomy-based solutions, is designed to help intelligence analysts quickly translate vast volumes of complex data into actionable intelligence.
