Ukraine Startups Developing AI-Enabled Drones to Combat Electronic Warfare

Startups in Ukraine are in the process of developing artificial intelligence (AI) enabled drones in a bid to combat electronic warfare and gain a technological edge in the war with Russia.

Knewz.com has learned that the integration of AI would allow drones to function in large "swarms" without requiring manual operation.

The innovation of AI-enabled drones in Ukraine is divided into the development of automated visual systems that can help identify potential targets and map the terrain and the development of more complex programming that will allow interconnected functioning.

The beginning of the Russian invasion in 2022 saw the establishment of over 200 tech startups in Ukraine, focused on helping the armed forces gain a technological advantage on the battlefield.
