Airbus, Helsing to team up on AI for crewed and uncrewed military aircraft

BERLIN, Germany. Airbus Defence and Space and Helsing will collaborate to develop artificial intelligence (AI) technologies aimed at enhancing the teaming of manned and unmanned military aircraft, the companies announced at the ILA aerospace trade show.

This partnership focuses on AI integration into the Wingman system, an unmanned fighter-type aircraft designed to operate alongside existing combat jets.
