General Dynamics Completes Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle Testing for US Marine Corps

The Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) project, spearheaded by General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), represents a landmark development in military reconnaissance technology, aimed at significantly enhancing the operational effectiveness of the Marine Corps across diverse and challenging environments. Throughout 2023, GDLS conducted extensive testing across various terrains and conditions, including the Nevada Automotive Test Center, U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, and U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California. Designed to act as the mobile "quarterback" on the battlefield, the ARV integrates advanced communication, control, and reconnaissance technologies, including a modular open architecture that supports rapid technology integration, artificial intelligence functionalities, and the capacity to control unmanned systems and future robotic platforms.
