Green Ammo enhances electronic blanks technology

Green Ammo, a Norwegian firm, has made advancements in its electronic blanks technology, introducing several enhancements. The system's software has been improved, and an inertial measurement unit (IMU) has been embedded in the bolt to monitor weapon movement. The M4 version's development is complete, the M249 version is being tested by the Norwegian Army, and work has started on versions for the M240 and .50 caliber heavy machine gun. The SA80 version development is also complete, although not adopted by the British Army, and the New Zealand Defence Force and the French Army are testing the system.
