DISA launches cloud-based electronic warfare planning tool

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is introducing the Electromagnetic Battle Management-Joint tool (EMBM-J), a cloud-based software critical for preparing and executing electronic warfare operations across the U.S. military. EMBM-J collates various data streams into a simplified, shared interface for commanders, initially focusing on improved situational awareness and coordination. The software supports the Department of Defense's pursuit of seamless connectivity under Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2), aiding maneuver, offensive, and defensive actions within the electromagnetic spectrum domain. EMBM-J is designed to work with existing visualizers and planners across services, fostering effective use of the electromagnetic spectrum for military operations.
