HevenDrones, an Israel-based company, has unveiled two new hydrogen-powered drones, the H2D200 and H2D250, as part of its commitment to introduce three hydrogen UAVs in 2023. These models revealed at the Monaco Hydrogen Forum, follow the earlier release of the H2D55 and mark a significant advancement in the company's range of cleaner, longer-flying drones. The H2D200 offers a lighter payload capacity of up to 4.5 kilos with a range of 510 km or four hours, focusing on extended range and hovering time. The H2D250, meanwhile, can carry up to 10 kilos over a distance of 750 km or eight hours, demonstrating the versatility and endurance of hydrogen power. These drones represent a shift from lithium batteries, offering environmental, operational, and financial benefits, including longer flight times, reduced replacement costs, and decreased environmental impact.
