Rohde & Schwarz unveils new C-UAS solution

Germany's Rohde & Schwarz has unveiled the Ardronis Locate Compact, a new counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) designed for the detection and localization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), particularly over large areas such as military bases. The compact system, deployable standalone or integrated into wider systems, utilizes a single-channel direction-finder to locate UAVs operating on commercially available digital and analog video downlinks. The solution, part of the Ardronis C-UAS product family, is operated by a single person and functions in various environments and temperatures. It addresses a gap in Rohde & Schwarz's portfolio for UAV location capabilities.
