Russia conducted a significant drone attack on Kyiv, Ukraine, the most intense since the 2022 invasion, launching 75 Iranian-made drones, with 74 intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses. The six-hour assault damaged buildings, including a kindergarten, and injured at least five civilians. Power outages affected 17,000 people, but most power was restored by the afternoon. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy acknowledged the need to strengthen air defense. The attack coincided with Holodomor Memorial Day and targeted multiple regions. Separately, shelling in the southern Kherson region resulted in one death and three injuries.
