UAS carrying RF sensors enables enhanced BLoS ISR capabilities
TEKEVER and CRFS have completed the first phase of their system integration partnership, introducing a sub-tactical uncrewed aerial system (UAS) equipped with highly sensitive RF sensors. The TEKEVER AR5 fixed-wing UAS now carries the CRFS RFEye Node, a rugged, lightweight RF receiver with a frequency range of up to 40 GHz. This integration allows users to geolocate ground-based targets beyond the horizon, significantly enhancing intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. The AR5 UAS has a 20-hour endurance range, a 50 kg payload capacity, and a cruise speed of 100 km/h. The integrated UAS with RF sensors can create a multidomain network of receivers for superior passive ISR over large areas.
