
Elistair unveils automated tethered observation UAS
Tethered UAV company Elistair has launched Khronos, a fully-automated system designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions in environments with GPS/GNSS and RF-denied conditions. The system, unveiled at MiliPol in Paris, boasts simplicity and rapid deployment, with the ability to be launched from a transportable box in under two minutes. Operating from fixed and mobile platforms with minimal human input, Khronos is described by Elistair CEO Guilhem de Marliave as a "simple, organic, long-endurance ISR asset that can be launched at the push of a button." The system weighs 30.8kg and is designed for ease of use based on Elistair's extensive experience in the field.
