Teledyne FLIR Defense showcases advanced maritime surveillance technology for first time at Indo Pacific 2023 in Sydney
Teledyne FLIR Defense is introducing its advanced maritime surveillance system, the SeaFLIR 240-EP, in Australia at the Indo Pacific 2023 conference. The system, with a lightweight stabilized turret, HD payload options, and inertial navigation capabilities, is designed for diverse at-sea missions, including Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), search and rescue, and special operations. The SeaFLIR 240-EP, chosen as the surveillance sensor for tactical boats by The Whiskey Project Group, integrates advanced image-processing technology in a compact form, making it suitable for naval combatant craft, small boats, and unmanned surface vessels. Teledyne FLIR is also showcasing its line of unmanned aerial systems, such as the SkyRanger R70 UAS, known for successful tests in deploying from land vehicles and sea vessels for continuous operational surveillance and reconnaissance.
