Aerodata AG and Milkor are collaborating to introduce a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) designed for maritime surveillance, addressing the increasing importance of unmanned aerial systems in surveillance. With a Maximum Take-Off Weight of 1,300 kg and the ability to carry mission-specific payloads, the UAS offers adaptability, operating in both MALE and Low Altitude Low Endurance (LALE) segments. It features a service ceiling of 30,000 feet, an endurance of up to 35 hours, and integrates state-of-the-art mission system technology from Aerodata, including maritime surveillance sensors from subsidiary Optimare Systems GmbH. The collaboration aims to provide cutting-edge solutions for maritime surveillance, enhancing defense and security agencies' capabilities in monitoring maritime activities and identifying potential threats.
