Pentagon’s Chief Digital and AI Office to host procurement forum for industry

The Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO) of the Pentagon is planning to hold its inaugural procurement forum on November 30 to brief industry partners on its procurement plans. The CDAO has seen an increase in ambition, objectives, and budget over the past year and is actively seeking innovative organizations to contribute to cutting-edge AI standards development for the Department of Defense. The forum will cover the fiscal 2024 procurement forecast, assisted acquisition procurements, the acquisition ecosystem, and discussions on topics like Responsible AI, Joint All-Domain Command and Control, digital talent management, and Advana enterprise platform capabilities. Feedback from industry partners at the forum will shape the implementation of the Pentagon's data, analytics, and AI adoption strategy.
