Training, Simulation Touches Every Aspect of U.S. Military

The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) is emphasizing the paramount importance of training and simulation in maintaining the qualitative advantage and dominance of the U.S. Joint Force. These practices ensure that service members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge for combat, while also aiding in the discovery and development of crucial medical techniques and products, as well as enhancing inter-service communication and decision-making capabilities. The modeling and simulation companies play a vital role in achieving these objectives. To further these efforts, the National Training and Simulation Association, an NDIA affiliate, will be hosting the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, Florida, aiming to foster collaboration between military services and the industry. The event, which is the largest of its kind, seeks to identify emerging technologies and operational concepts vital for military success in potential conflict scenarios, with a specific emphasis on artificial intelligence this year.
