AUSA 2023: New EOS R800 RWS combines laser and kinetic capabilities to counter aerial threats

EOS Defense Systems USA has introduced a new Remote Weapon Station (RWS) at AUSA 2023, designed to blind the optics of various Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs). This R800 weapon integrates a 1Kw laser system with kinetic capabilities and is equipped with a Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems Mk44S Bushmaster 30mm automatic cannon, along with a coaxial M240B 7.62mm machine gun, making it a versatile addition to defense capabilities.
