Naval Unmanned Systems Showcased At Taiwan’s Defense Show

The Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE) 2023 showcased a range of unmanned naval systems, including the Thunder Tiger Seashark 400 USV, designed for surveillance and reconnaissance missions, and the Thunder Tiger Seawolf 400 UUV, capable of various civil and military tasks underwater. Additionally, the ALSEAMAR SEAEXPLORER underwater glider offers cost-effective data collection, and the NMOO and AiTRIX Sea Scout Glider is set to enhance the Taiwan Navy's reconnaissance capabilities. Furthermore, the Shield AI V-BAT UAV is designed for independent takeoff and recovery in challenging environments, making it suitable for missions like border security and threat detection.
