Kazakh startup pushes into local market for explosive drones

Kazakhstan's Taharqa Technologies showcased its new explosive drone, the NMD multirotor, at the Belgrade Partner 23 defense fair. Designed for the Kazakh armed forces, the 2 kg drone has a 20-minute endurance and can target infantry with high-explosive fragmentation warheads. The debut aligns with Kazakhstan's broader push to expand its drone capabilities, including a recent partnership with Turkish Aerospace Industries to produce ANKA drones locally.
