DSEI 2023: MARSS Launches Smaller More Portable UAV Interceptor

MARSS has introduced the Interceptor-SR, a smaller and lighter autonomous unmanned aerial system (UAS) designed for efficient protection against hostile drones. This AI-enabled drone provides a cost-effective alternative to short-range missiles and is capable of neutralizing CAT1 drones at distances of 1km or more. The Interceptor-SR offers portable CUAS (Counter-Unmanned Aerial System) capabilities for both mounted and dismounted infantry, significantly enhancing protection on the battlefield. It complies with the UK MoD SAPIENT standard and is interoperable with other compliant battlefield sensors and networks, providing a flexible and adaptive response to evolving drone threats.
