
Ukrainians complete training on Abrams tanks as Kyiv makes battlefield gains

Conducted in Germany, the training aims to enhance Ukraine's capabilities against Russia’s defenses. This development coincides with reports of Ukrainian forces breaching Russia’s main defensive line in the southeast for the first time, fostering optimism about retaking more territory. While U.S. officials view the tanks as crucial for Ukraine's military efforts, they caution that the fight ahead remains challenging, as Russian forces are heavily entrenched. The Abrams tanks are part of a larger commitment from Western allies, including Leopard 2, Challenger, and Leclerc tanks.
