DIANA Challenge Program (7 Days Left to Apply)
The DIANA challenge programme has announced a competitive call for proposals targeting energy resilience, secure information sharing, and sensing and surveillance as strategic focus areas. The programme seeks to solve critical dual-use challenges in civilian and defense sectors and offers grant funding, a customised accelerator program, access to test and evaluation resources, and exposure to investors and end users. Innovators accepted into the challenges will receive non-dilutive grants of EUR 100,000 and join the DIANA accelerator program's 'Boot-camp' phase. A smaller number of companies will receive additional grants of up to EUR 300,000 for the 'Scale' phase. The programme aims to support innovative companies in Allied nations, particularly start-ups, by exposing them to defense and security problems and aiding their commercial business development. The pilot-year programme will launch three challenges in 2023, with plans to increase the number of challenges each year until full operating capability is reached in 2025.
