RTI Awarded $1.25M Defense Research Contract to Develop Data-Centric Threat Detection Capabilities for Real-Time Networks

Real-Time Innovations (RTI) has been awarded a $1.25 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II contract by AFWERX to enhance RTI Connext® for addressing challenges in the Department of the Air Force (DAF). RTI will focus on leveraging semantic level information within the OMG Data Distribution Service (DDS™) communications protocol to enhance threat and anomaly detection capabilities, facilitating more effective responses to cyber-attacks, equipment failures, and human error. The research aims to explore advanced concepts in three-dimensional visualization of distributed systems and semantic level threat analysis and response frameworks. The collaboration seeks to strengthen the national defense of the United States by providing innovative capabilities.
