Multistakeholder Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence​

The United Nations is forming a multi-stakeholder High-level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence, as part of efforts to promote trustworthy, human rights-based, safe, and sustainable AI development. A public call for nominations has been issued to gather leading experts from government, industry, civil society, and academia, aiming for geographically representative, gender-balanced, age-balanced, and interdisciplinary composition. The body will analyze and provide recommendations for the international governance of AI, with an emphasis on global cooperation, and nominees will be evaluated based on their suitability and commitment to the advisory body's objectives. The initiative reflects a commitment to addressing AI's challenges through inclusive and diverse collaboration.
