AEGIX Global Awarded $3M State Contract to Distribute ZeroEyes AI Gun Detection and Intelligent Situational Awareness Platform to Utah Schools
ZeroEyes and AEGIX Global have been granted a $3 million contract by the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) to distribute ZeroEyes' AI gun detection and intelligent situational awareness platform to Utah schools. Enabled by Utah's House Bill (H.B.) 61, the grant program for school safety and security issued a request for proposal (RFP) for firearm detection software, leading to AEGIX being awarded the contract as the exclusive ZeroEyes reseller for the state. The ZeroEyes platform will be presented to all Utah school districts for consideration, and interested districts will acquire the software from AEGIX, with full onboarding, training, installation, and support provided. ZeroEyes' AI gun detection software is integrated into existing digital security cameras in schools, instantly identifying guns and sharing images with the ZeroEyes Operations Center staffed by trained U.S. military and law enforcement veterans. If a valid threat is determined, alerts and actionable intelligence are dispatched to local staff and law enforcement within seconds. This partnership aims to enhance school safety and protect students and faculty from gun-related violence in Utah schools.
