Six Companies Join Catalyst Accelerator's AI/ML For Space And Maritime Applications Cohort

The Catalyst Accelerator has selected six US-based companies for their 12th cohort focused on AI/ML for Space and Maritime Applications. The Accelerator, powered by the Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/RV), aims to support nontraditional technology companies in accelerating their involvement in the national defense ecosystem. The cohort, a joint initiative between the US Space Force and US Navy, will provide mentorship, business development opportunities, and connections with subject matter experts from both sectors. The selected startups include Data2, Duality Systems, Exosite, Precursor SPC, R-DEX Systems, and RS21, each offering innovative solutions ranging from data analysis with natural language processing to AI-powered tools for fault detection and prediction in critical equipment. The program will culminate in Demo Days where the companies will pitch their technologies to government, industry partners, and potential investors, furthering the development and deployment of AI/ML technologies in space and maritime industries.
