Fivecast Completes US $20M (AU$30m) Series A Raise With New US and Existing Australian VC Investors

Australia-based open-source intelligence (OSINT) software company Fivecast raises nearly US$20 million (AU$30m) to drive its expansion in key markets. The funding signals an increased demand for data and risk analytics from governments and corporations.

Fivecast’s OSINT technology is governed by artificial intelligence / machine learning algorithms for defense, security, and intelligence purposes. The algorithms are used to help identify and track, for example, extremists, terrorists, drug trafficking, and organized crimes using publicly available information. Funding was led in this round by United States-based cybersecurity firm Ten Eleven.
