Airbus CAPA-X tactical UAS: flexibility first

Airbus subsidiary Survey Copter unveils its tactical uncrewed aerial vehicle (T-UAV), the CAPA-X, at SOFINS 2023 in France. T-UAVs are known for their versatility in application and flexibility in use.

While the architecture of the CAPA-X is ‘conventional,’ the T-UAV can be configured and re-configured depending on the ‘mission and operational scenario’ in which it will be deployed. In particular, the wing span and rear assembly can be adjusted rapidly for either mission transition or logistical burden-easing. Its minimum payload is 10kg.
