Bayraktar TB3 armed UAV to make public debut in April

Turkey-based drone manufacturer Baykar will exhibit its Bayraktar TB3 armed uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) for the first time at the 2023 Teknofest exhibition in Istanbul. The Bayraktar TB2 has proven popular, if limited, including among Ukrainian forces in the Donbas region of Ukraine until late-2022.

The TB3 boasts an ability to take off from and land on short aircraft carrier runways, in addition to foldable wings to maximize the number of UAVs the host vessel can carry. It can also conduct intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, carry smart munitions, and possesses beyond-line-of-sight capabilities.
