Published on March 23, 2023
NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), designed to create a transatlantic innovation ecosystem, releases updated maps of its test center and accelerator footprints.
David Van Weel, NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, emphasized the ‘diverse geographic locations’ of the relevant sites that will enable the alliance to leverage talent in its pursuit of emerging and disruptive technologies, including artificial intelligence. DIANA’s first challenge programs will be implemented in the Fall of 2023 in five locations throughout Europe and the United States. A ‘call for innovator-participants’ will be issued in mid-2023.
