Sig Sauer Acquires Israeli Tech Firm General Robotics

Global arms manufacturer, Sig Sauer announced that it has acquired the Israeli tactical robotics company, General Robotics. General Robotics is known for its robots for both crewed and uncrewed platforms as well as remote weapon stations. With the acquisition, Sig Sauer will be able to combine their lightweight squad weapons with the robotic capabilities of General Robotics, revolutionizing the military small arms sector in the process. 

Notably, ‘General Robotics unveiled the latest version of its PITBULL remote control weapons station that features enhanced artificial intelligence-driven capabilities for improved situational awareness, response rate, and firepower.’
