EDGE SkyShield and V-Protect against drones and IEDs

The United Arab Emirates-based defense conglomerate EDGE Group unveils its counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) SkyShield at IDEX 2023.

Leveraging the EDGE Group’s own work in electronic warfare and the increasing threat of unauthorized drones, SkyShield comes equipped with sensors and jammers designed to detect and confuse hostile drones. Once detected, the drones’ navigation systems are re-directed by the jammer and spoofer antennas. If installed in the rear of a vehicle, SkyShield operates fully autonomously.
