Qii.AI Wins Software Contract to Provide AI Corrosion Detection for Inspection of Royal Canadian Navy Vessels

Canada-based software company Qii.AI enters into a license and AI customization agreement with Canada’s Naval Engineering Test Establishment. The purpose is to use the Qii platform for use in the Royal Canadian Navy’s ship inspection program.

The Qii platform is capable of accelerating the inspection of ships using drone imagery. Qii’s AI techniques quicken the process again by automating the detection and measurement of ship-specific issues, such as corrosion. Qii’s software will use data acquired by United States-based drone manufacturer Skydio’s drones for analytics.
