Animal Dynamics’ Stork STM Parafoil UAV Selected For Royal Navy’s UAS Heavy Lift Challenge

United Kingdom-based autonomous solutions company Animal Dynamics is selected by the Royal Navy to participate in the Uncrewed Aerial Systems Heavy Lift Challenge (UASHLC). Animal Dynamics’ Stork STM parafoil, an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV), will be used.

Stork STM is an ‘autonomous aerial logistics vehicle’ with beyond visual line-of-sight operations and payload-carrying capabilities. The UASHLC will ‘explore potential use cases’ for uncrewed systems like the Stork STM for the delivery of supplies and equipment in ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore contexts.
